dll app

I got an error message, "run a dll as an app has
encountered a problem and needs to close". Someone told
me that I can use my Win XP CD and extract the dll files
that I need to put back on my computer, but she doesn't
remember which command I need. I ran the pc doctor and
it gave me 156 errors of mostly missing files. What
should I do? I can't access task wizards. I can only
access Office Programs and files that I have saved.
Please Help!!!

Put your startup disc in press r when prompted do a

recovery.It may come up with a prompt,ADM. password leave
blank,press enter,type restore at the prompt(or was that
recovery,well type map and it will give you a list of
options.
