Distro mail list problem

K

Kay

I have a 200 member distro mailing list. When I use it to
send something out, I occasionally get "not delivered"
messages back. Solvable. The real problem is that some
recipients are NOT receivng my message, but I do not get
any notification. I find out later verbally. Their
correct e-mail address IS loaded in my contacts and on the
distro list. When I try to send them an individual e-
mail, I get the "Check Names" screen that says Outlook
does not recognize "" (whomever). I type in the info all
over again and it doesn't seem to appear anywhere. I
cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong, or how I can fix
it. Please help!

Yet another reason that DLs are more trouble that they're worth. You'd be
better off keeping the addresses as individual contact records and doing a
mail merge with Word to send individual messages to each person. That way,
you'll quickly learn about any addresses that Outlook finds are bad.
