Distribution Lists

I have been playing with distribution lists, and I am getting quite
frustrated.

When I click on New Distribution List, I go, as the directions say select
members -> I then select which folder/group I want to select the member
from.. Now, from the instructions it sounds like I should be able to see ALL
the contacts in this folder at this point, but I don't. I have to do a search
for every single name that I want to add to the distribution list, which is
very time consuming.

Is this the way it's supposed to be. It seems there should be an easier,
more drag-and-drop, or view all, way of doing things.

Never mind, I figured it out. I had to click on the Names circle. So what
does the "more columns" check box do?
