Distributation Lists

I would like to move my contacts in one distribution list to a new one
skipping out putting them into my contact list as I added them directly to
the distrubation list and they are not listed in contacts - being lazy! I
just want to arrange the lists now as they are getting a little large.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you

While viewing your Contacts, right-click and drag your DL just a tad,
release the mouse button, and choose Copy. You'll now have two
identically-named DLs. Open the first, remove some names, save and close.
Open the second, give it a new name, remove names from this one that you
kept in the first, save and close. You've now split your original DL into
two.

Thank you Brian I can do that.

Next question do you know if there is a way that I can transfer names and
email address from one DL to another. I have 3 going and I want to make them
easier to manage in alpha order as they are a little muddled at the moment.

Some measure of cut-and-paste is available. Open both DLs. In the one
containing the data you wish to move to the other, double-click the entry.
Select the address and right-click>Copy or press CTRL-C. Then move to the
other DL, click Select Members, click in the Members field and
right-click>Paste or press CTRL-V. I don't know of any other way.
