Display problem

Hi

Thanks in advance

I have a problem with menu 'not displaying' when clicked. But they
will appear when the mouse cursor is passed over the menu.

i.e on the desktop right and you normally get the menu displayed. I
get a outline, which you can see the desktop through. I move the
mouse down the outlined and it fills the menu options, not the
sepraters thou.

Has anyone any ideas?

oh, almost forgot it's Laptop - HP NX9005
