Display modes? Acer and S3 integrated graphics

Hi, i bought a 19'' wide acer monitor AL1916W to use in my new computer
with Via chipset and integrated graphics (via/s3g unichrome pro igp / 64mb)
but i only have 3 display modes available:
800x600, 1024x768 and 1280x768

I have installed the Acer driver for this monitor and i also installed the
last drivers for via/s3g unichrome pro igp but nothing has changed.

Anyone have idea on how can i solve this problem?

You'll need to purchase and install a new
Video Adapter card that supports wide-
screen resolutions as it is apparent your
onboard video chip does not.
