display issues.

When I maximize a window, there is about a half an inch
of the desktow still showing at the top of the window.
Any suggestions? I have tried all the display settings
that I can think of.

Scott,
Click the view button in the main menu/ on the drop down menu click the full
screen option. After you are in the full screen mode you can right click an
empty spot on the menu bar and choose the "auto hide" option for no tool
bar.
