Display adapter

I can see anything on my monitor when I start up my com..
I've tried to troubleshoot the problem. Turned out to be display adapter's
driver not compatible???(but had been alright since I bought this com.!)

OK. Re-installed all window XP. It was OK with same driver! But the same
problem recurred after a few days.

I can still use the com. by disabling the driver(64MB NVIDIA GeForce2 MX
with TV out) but the screen display with verticle linear strips/flickers.

Could someone please help me with my above problem.

Thank you

I'm sorry that you completely reinstalled Windows. It very much sounds
like you have a hardware failure with your video card. The way to
troubleshoot is by swapping the card out with a known-working one. If
you don't have the ability to do this, take the machine to a computer
repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigStoreUSA).

I seem to have the same problem after I switch on the monitor after it has
been powered off for a while. I recently had the monitor repaired after a
complete failure.
Can anyone advise me please.
Thank you.
