Disk Cleanup

When I use Disk cleanup I get an error, and it does not clean up.
I get
"Microsoft Error reporting Temporary Files"

Can anyone tell me how to correct this please.

After you verify a recent backup of critical/important data, right-click
the Drive Icon in My Computer, select properties, Select Tools, select
Check now, fix errors, follow the prompts, and after the reboot and file
checks have completed, try your Disk cleanup.
