This is how I made it happen on Windows Vista. I picked up (click on and
drag) the disk clean from list on start up and wanted to put it up to the top
of the menu. The menu closed and here I was holding the disk clean up under
my pointer the only choice I had was to drop it on my desk top. Then I went
back to start up and drop it where I wanted it at the top of start menu. Then
the short cut that was on my desk top I delete it. When going back to disk
cleanup after a disk clean up was preformed. I no longer can do a disk
cleanup from the one that is top of my menu. I can find it by typing in tools
and using it from the performance information tools only (typing in disk
clean up I get nothing now in the search from start). I delete the none
working one from my menu now. I like to know how I can put disk clean up
back on my start menu????? I know how from there to put it on the top of
menu without using pick up and drag now ......lol big problem that caused it
to start with.
