Has anyone used this disk cataloguing tool?

http://boozet.xepher.net/ Visual Cd 2.2mb v1.5.1
a disk cataloguing tool to index CD/DVDs, floppy disks, hard disks, and even
folders. You can then explore the disk catalogs, search files and folders,
create MP3 playlist file without having the physical disks in the drive.
Upon insertion of the corresponding disk, you can open files, split files
into smaller pieces, extract ZIP, RAR, and CAB archive, and more.

Or...what cataloguing tool is recommended for locating files (in particular,
images) stored on CD.

Absolute best one is Cathy, for me. I got it from this site:
http://rvas.webzdarma.cz (scroll down). Direct dl link is:
http://rvas.webzdarma.cz/Cathy.zip.

Very easy to use, takes a nano second to catalogue an entire CD and is
very user friendly. Also, once you find what you're looking for, load
the actual CD you need to use, and by right-clicking on that entry in
Cathy and choosing to explore to that item (2 types of choices
"explore" or "explore parent directory" show up, something like that)
and Cathy will open the very folder on the CD you need. Too awesome
for words. Been using it for probably about a year now.

Good luck!

________
Considerable difference in size too (Cathy Version 2.20.2, 43 kB). compared
to http://boozet.xepher.net/ Visual Cd 2.2mb v1.5.1

Thanks for the reference. There were other items of interest on that page
http://rvas.webzdarma.cz
ThirdDir -An unusual directory-synchronizer - the different files are copied
to third directory. It is very useful to extract e.g. new or edited photos
from a huge directory tree on fixed disk to temporary folder, then add them
to archive CD (note - the original files are compared against the CD).
Version 1.3.1, size 22kB.
