Discs wont play in SOME players???

I have been trying to play my burned discs in my car but they wont play (its
a goodmans), nor in my girlfriends car (peugeot built-in). Yet the same discs
play in my brothers car (ford built-in), my hi-fi (philips), xbox360 and
cd/mp3 walkman.
At first i thought it was the windows media player so i installed
musicmatch jukebox, recommended by a pc guy, but no change. Then i stopped
using Infiniti discs for jvc and yho, but still no diff. It has me stumped
why they play on some players but not others

Not all car players can read CR's or CDRW's with burnt mp3's or wma's on
them. Check the specs of each player to find out.

Thanks, i thought it might have been that but my girlfriend already plays
copy discs in her car which were burned by her brother and i now use the
discs recommended by him, yet i still have the same problem...its a mind
bender this one.
