Disconnect problems when minimized

I use remote desktop to connect to a terminal server in a remote location.

Whenever i minimize the remote desktop it disconnect within 5 to 30 seconds.

I have tried to reference several TID's on this with no luck, (216783) this
one suggest making registery edits to fields that do not exist in Win XP
registry.

Any Ideas, a lot of my users are becomming quite fustrated.

I am also haveing the same problem i changed the firewall settings to allow
rdp port 3389 thru and turned off the windows firewall but it still doesn't
seem to matter any input on this would be great!
