Disappearing Shortcuts

I'm running XP Pro with Office 2003.

I keep loosing my shortcuts in Outlook 2003. I build
them, Outlook works fine and it may take several reboots
during subsequent days but I eventually lose my
shorcuts. When Outlook starts the shortcuts are simply
not there. The group items are still there but all
shortcuts underneath the group items are gone and it
takes FOREVER to drag the folders back to the shortcuts.

I've tried running the Save My Settings wizard and it
only restores about 20% of all of my shortcuts.

I run the windows update and office update every day so I
know I have the latest software. Any idea why I"m
loosing my shortcuts?

The new navigation panes in Outlook 2003 seem to be unusually fragile, I'm
afraid. I dont' know of a soluution.
