Disappearing Fonts in XP Prof.

My son uninstalled a game and then ran disk clean up. All of my fonts in my font folder disappeared, and everything EVERYTHING is hash. I can reinstall fonts but as soon as I shut down they all disappear again. I have scanned for infections from 3 different sources and all reports are clean. Any hints tips or smart advice?
