Hi All,
I've had a search through the groups and the web, but I can't find an
answer to the problem I'm having with my compact flash and MMC card
readers.
Basically, they seem to have vanished from my software. I have a
Shuttle SN85G4 XPC, which came with the readers built in when I bought
it about a year and a half back. I've never had any trouble with them
(not that I use them a great deal), but now they seem to have vanished
from my system and when I insert a card into either one, nothing
happens. The drives dont' show up in windows explorer or any place I
might expect to see them, and I'm not 100% sure when they dissapeared.
The last time I used them successfully, was about a month to 6 weeks
ago. In that time, I haven't touched the hardware, but I've installed a
Sudoku game, the drivers and software for a MSI Mega Sky USB freeview
TV adapter, and the software and drivers to go with my Motorola Razr
V3i.
I've tried running back to a restore point from some time ago, but it
didn't fix the problem. I now have no idea how to get them back. Any
help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Russ.
