Disabling Un-necessary services

Hi,

I'm looking at disabling some of the services via group policy, firstly for
Security, and Secondly to speed up start up. Would disabling any of the
below causing problems using Windows XP Sp2, in a 2003 server domain
environment?

a.. Alerter
a.. Clipbook
a.. Computer Browser
a.. Distributed Link Tracking Client - Will this cause problems
copying/moving files between client PCs & servers?
a.. Error Reporting Service - If we don't want to send system crash reports
back to MS?
a.. Fast User Switching
a.. Human Interface Access Devices - Will this cause problems with
multimedia keyboards?
a.. Indexing Service
a.. IPSEC Services
a.. Messenger
a.. Netmeeting Remote Desktop Sharing - Will this cause problems with
Remote Assistance?
a.. Network Location Awareness - If Windows Firewall/ICS is disabled, is
this required?
a.. Portable Media Serial Number
a.. Remote Procedure Call Locator - Will this cause problems accessing
server applications?
a.. Remote Registry
a.. Remote Registry Service
a.. Routing & Remote Access
a.. Server - Will this cause problems using SMB? Workstations don't host any
shares or printers.
a.. SSDP Discovery Service - Is this needed in a domain environment? I don't
think we have any upnp devices.
a.. SNMP - Do workstations need this? Isn't it more of an admin tool?
a.. System Restore Service - I've read this uses a lot of resources, is it
needed if user data is backup daily to a server?
a.. Telnet
a.. TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper - We run DNS, so is this needed?
a.. Upload Manager
a.. Universal Plug and Play Device Host - Again, is this needed in a domain
environment, if we don't have any upnp devices?
a.. WebClient - I don't think anyone here accesses web folders.
a.. Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) - We run Symantec
Client Firewall
