Hello
This may sound like a joke, but it's definitely not!
Our cat loves to sit on the keyboard, thanks to a nice warm Pentium
processor under the (notebook) keyboard. Well, we didn't get her off in time
and she inadvertently activated FilterKeys. All resources point me to the
"Keyboard" tab under "Accessibility Options", but my version of XP does not
have any Accessibility Options installed - the folder is empty and there are
no tabs. And - of course - the Notebook came with Windows pre-installed and
no discs.
Another tip out there was to hold down both SHIFT keys - I did this and it
did nothing. That FilterKey item is still there in the tray bottom right.
PLEASE can someone help. It's highly frustrating since I cannot - for
example - type any word with the same letter appearing twice. Like "letter".
Or "appearing". Arrrggghhhhhh
