disabled graphics card

I have a client who has disabled her graphics adapter in the display
properties section. now when she boots up she gets the windows xp screen
(black one) then the screen goes black but continues to load windows without
display. i am sure there must be a simple solution to re enable the graphics
but i cant put my finger on it.

any assistance greatly appreciated.

If you can hit F8 while booting and get to safe mode...
you can re-enable graphics

unfortunately when i try to boot into safe mode it stalls at
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mup

Well if nothing gets the machine up and running...
a repair install will be needed

google for more info if you need to know how to perform a repair install
