Disable write caching globally?

Is it possible to disable disk write caching on a per system basis? I know
one can do it per drive (associated with drive serial number), but this
won't work for us when we copy our image from machine to machine... I need
it to be disabled on all machines we deploy on.

I had the same problem...

I wrote an application which sets the write cache flag to 1 at all currently
detected disks.
Thats the only way to do...
