Disable power button?

I see lots of helpful advice on how to prevent a device from powering it
self down, or how to turn the device off from an application - however, I'm
kind of stuck looking for a way to disable the power button. These devices
are going to be captive devices and I don't want the users to play around
and turn these off (and they will).

Also - considering that I'll have 200 + of these to manage, any ideas if
there are tools like NT Dameware or VNC that would let me control these
little bastards from a remote location?

I don't think you can prevent powering down - you'd have to intercept the
power interrupt, and that's probably not doable.

For multi-device remote management, I've used Afaria, which worked well.
