Disable Outlook 2K3 Security Feature

I have a client that has recently upgraded to Outlook
2003 with Exchange Server 2003. They have a DB Program
that can automatically email information out of it. In
the past it had always worked with Outlook 97.

Since the upgrade to Outlook 2003, when they try this
function they recieve one of the two following security
warnings which they have to respond to...

'A Program is trying to automatically send e-mail on your
behalf'

'A Program is trying to access e-mail addresses that you
have stored in Outlook'

I have seen this error before, have read articles stating
this cannot be turned off, however when the are emailing
this information to 50 - 100 recipents a day, they are
getting sick of seeing the message. I just wanted to
ensure there were no registry changes that could be made
to get rid of the message so the email will send out as
it use to.

Thanks,

Brian

Rest assured there are no such registry changes. Your DB program should be
modified to conform to the Microsoft security model. See
http://www.outlookcode.com/d/sec.htm for more information.

Until you can change your program, a workaround can be found here:

There are no registry changes that can be made to shut down the enhanced
security model of the OOM. Before I open my mouth and give a suggestion for
a work around, does the DB program use Simple MAPI, Active Messages (aka
CDO) or the Outlook Object model to send messages?
