Mr. Rajiv Trivedi

Hi,

How to disable user account in Windows 2000 Server ADS
Domain Structure, which are not utilized (accessed) for
certain days (e.g. 30 Days) ?

It should automatically disable the user account after
specified no. of days.

Thanks,
Rajiv Trivedi

Good morning,

I might suggest that you - from a non-programmatic approach - look at the
'oldcmp' utility that you can find at http://www.joeware.net in the free
WIN32 C++ area. All you need to do is to change the filter ( as this is
usually used for computer account objects ).

Rajiv,

What do you mean that it did not work? Did you change the filter so that it
applies to user account objects instead of computer account objects? If you
do not do this ( as I mentioned in my initial reply to you ) then it will
not work [ in that it will be applied to computer account objects; not very
useful if you are trying to disable user account objects ;-) ].

I do not script so I am not able to help with the 'programmatic' side of
this.

See tip 8260 » How can I report all inactive user accounts, and optionally
disable them, even if I have multiple domain controllers?
