Disable ability to rename to zip

Just playing around with password protected and read-only word documents, I
am able to remove the read-only attribute in the settings.xml file and remove
the read-only restriction. This is good if we have forgotten the password,
but very bad if it needs to be read by all but only edited by a few. Is
there any way to disable the ability to rename docx to zip on individual
computers, removing the ability to get to the xml?

Hi Chris,

Which Office 2007 restrictions/steps are you using?

There are a number of editors and utilities that can open the .docX/.docM etc file formats without renaming them to .zip. The
renaming is basically a convenience for being able to open the folder in Windows without needing additional software.

If you encrypt the document removing the password won't give access to it.
Restricting access to specific Windows features (including renaming or other rights restrictions in a folder) is generally going to
be a setting via Windows or 3rd party security so
