direct x 9.0b

Ever since i downloaded dx 9.0b my Tiger Woods 2003
won't start up but as soon as i disable my intagrated
sound ac97 the game will run without the sound i have the
latest drivers from realtek, all the rest of my games
work fine any help would be appreciated.

Hi Ron,

You might need to adjust the in game sound settings.
Start by turning every choice to low or off (especially
EAX) and if it works gradually increase them all one
by one until you find the ideal setting for your system.

goes to a ea sports splash screen and then goes back to
the desktop, take the drivers out and the game starts up
and you can play but no sound,i had the game loaded
awhile back and it worked fine untill i downloaded
dx9.0b, but all the rest of my games work fine.

Hey Jim no luck i went out and bought me a sound blaster

card and bisabled the on board sound and still no sound
this is going to be a tough one i've updated the drivers
for the new sound card i've installed it in two different
pci slots but to no good end man i've tried almost every
thing.

well tried reinstalling and no luck.i've tried updating

my sound drivers but no luck they just don't show up as
WHQL drivers and my drivers are only running in
emmulation mode, any help?

Try finding newer drivers to download for the
sound card you're using, or consider getting
a new sound card such as an inexpensive SB!
