Digital photos to presentation

Papa T

Last summer my wife and I spent four weeks in Scotland. I took over 900
digital photos and want to show them in two fashions. I want to show
them as a owerpoint to a Library group I previously showed my 35mm
slides to.
and secondly, I want to show them as photos through a DVD player. Can
someone please advise me as to how to do this.
Much thanks,
Jim

The PowerPoint Slideshow

See
BATCH IMPORT images into PowerPoint

You might also want to consider how many "pixels" are in each image.... as
inserting 900 images into powerpoint could make the file un-manageable.

For the DVD, if it's just pictures........ a lot of DVD players these days
can show a slideshow of pictures, if the pictures are all JPG images. Check
with your DVD player. Just write a blank DVD with your JPG photos. or do a
test first

PowerPoint is quite good for this, but not the only
solution. This may be heresy here but you may want to look
at using Photoshop Elements. It can create video CDs and
slide shows very easily.

Photo2DVD can meet your requirements. It can burn photo to DVD and you
can combine photos with music, texts and blank slides and add video
clips with this excellent software.

Hi, Jim

For your first fashion, PowerPoint2DVD may help you. It can give you a
powerpoint show on DVD. It is very easy to use and free for trial.

And for the second one, I strongly recommend you to use Photo2DVD for
making slideshows. With this dvd slideshow software, you have nearly
150 transition effects, background music, menu templates to select.

Good luck.
