Difficulty with Keyboard keys.

When using the semi colon key, appostrophy key, both brack keys, the keys do not type out what they are suppose too. For example....this is my semi colon key when depressed È, this is my bracket key when depressed ¨¨, this is the other bracket key when depressed Ç, also my question mark key when depressed does this É, ....there is more, but that is the majority of them.....

This layout looks similar to a Canadian keyboard. Was it always like this
or has it changed recently? If your running XP, check the text input
selection by going to Start->Control Panel->Regional And Language Options;
select the Languages tab; hit Details... button; and check for U.S. English
layout if that's what you want. You can add and select other layouts.
