Difficulty with Access 2003

I have a home grown app. based on VB6 and Access 97 with about 10 peer-to-peer users.
I had very few problems with databse corruption (scarce).
I moved gradually tp Windows XP prof (peer-to-peer) and access 2003, I recompiled VB6 app. to run on access 2003.
Since that time I have been having several databse crashes and the access 2003 databses seem very sensitive to any other application trying to access the databsase at the same time. I never had this problem with w95 and access97.
Any ideas, any thing familiar? thanks for any help.

The Same exact thing happened to me. i was running
windows 98 with access 97 and the database was designed
for the company and it had no problems running and
entering data. Then i upgraded to windows XP Pro and
nothing is the same, client names have turned into
numbers, the employee time cards arent working. This is
costing the company money. Unfortunately I didnt set the
database up, the person that did, isnt around anymore. I
dont know what to do. This is a complete upset in
business...
At least im not the only one.

sorry cant help you

VERY very odd.

Open the Report that's printing the numbers instead of names, and view
the Properties of the report. What's the Recordsource property? Click
the ... icon by it and copy and paste the SQL to a message here.

Also, please post the Control Source property of the textbox that
should have names.

It sounds like something related to Lookups, or that the query in A97
did not get transferred correctly; but it should be fairly easy to
fix.
