Difficulty in purchasing Access 2003 Runtime

I'm finding it difficult purchasing Access 2003 Runtime, which I believe is
in the Microsoft Visual Studio Tools Tools For The Microsoft Office System
2003 product. I made three buys on Amazon, Yahoo and Ebay and each time the
Vendor emailed me a couple of days after the purchase saying that he was
out. Does anyone know where I can get this? Is there any other way to get
Access 2003 runtime without buying this product? Does Access 2003 runtime
install on a computer the way Access 2000 runtime installed, that is,
without having to register it. Any suggestions would be appreciated(besides
upgrading to 2007 or downgrading to 2000).

Thanks Doug , I did order that and it should be here soon, although, I am
skeptable that it will contain runtime 2003. It's my understanding that MS
is no longer making it. They have taken it off of their website. I have read
other forums where people have been getting burned buying VSTO 2005. They
think that it includes runtime 2003 and for some reason it doesn't. I
believe that if you install this product it will install Access 2003
Developers Extensions (ADE), which includes runtime 2003, IF you have 2003
office professional on your computer. It is very frustrating and hard to
get information about this. When I get the package , before I open it, if it
doesn't specifically say ADE, I am going to try to call microsoft and find
out what's going on. If I can't get an acceptable answer , I'm going to send
it back because in no way am i going to risk $600.00.

I just might have to upgrade my client to Access 2007. The runtime version
is being given away for free. It would mean upgrading about 5 computers,
that are currently running windows 2000, to XP professional 2003, or vista
business. The cost would be about $140 for each computer. I guess I'd have
to buy Access 2007, which would be another $140. I don't mind the cost but
it is time consuming installing new operating systems. Plus, I am not sure
about the stability of Access 2007.

I received it in the mail today and it looks good. It's the all gold box.
Also includes VB development of stored procedures, functions, and triggers
for SQL server. Wow. Can't wait to install it.
