Hi!
In Word 2003 you could choose betwwen character style and paragraph style.
In 2007 i found the option linked, charachter and paragraph, (I do not have
the english version but I think it would be something like that in english).
What does that mean and how can I use it?

The "linked" styles in Word 2007 are like the old paragraph styles in Word
2002/2003, that is, you can "paint" such a style on part of a paragraph, for
example, in order to create a table of contents based on entries less than
whole paragraphs. When you do this, Word creates linked paragraph styles to
take care of the formatting; these can cause a mess in Word 2002,
especially, with style names such as "Heading 1 Char" or even "Heading 1
Char Char" etc. being displayed (for example, see
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/902064/en-us).

The "paragraph" styles in Word 2007 can never be applied to part of a
paragraph; all paragraphs in the selection will assume the formatting. No
"char char" styles should be created.

Note that the Styles pane in Word 2007 has another option: you can disable
linked styles altogether; this makes all paragraph styles behave like the
"new" paragraph styles and completely avoids the "char char" issue.
