Different email accounts

I have several email accounts, have been using IncrediMail and now want to
change SOME of them over to windows. I set up one this morning, the way the
instructions said. But instead of getting a new folder for that mail, it
comes in with the mail from my main ID. I want it separate, how do i do that?

According to the instructions a new folder is suppose to be set up for the
different email address.

I get a lot of mail on my main idenity and I don't want the mail mixed.

So how do I get the new folder set up.

You can add multiple accounts, via Tools - Accounts - Add, but Windows Mail
doesn't have identities or a password option....

Windows Mail puts email from all accounts into the same Inbox, and there's
no setting to change that. When you send a message, you can select which
account to send from, by clicking on the From: box.

Here are a few alternatives to keep your email separate...

1. Create folders for each email account and create message rules to move
email addressed to each account into the appropriate folder.

2. Create and use different Windows Users, each with WM accessing only
their email account. (This is how you set a password to keep other users
out.)

3. Use the newer Windows Live Mail which has separate folders for each
account, but no identities or password:

4. Purchase WMIDs which adds identities to WM

5. Use Windows Mail for one account, Windows Live Mail for another.

I downloaded live mail and can't find where it is. I've never had any luck
with windows mail, that's why I went to IncrediMail before,. So I guess I'm
going back to IncrediMail entirely.

I hate Vista and anything having to do with windows mail.

You download a setup file (wlsetup-web.exe), which you run and select which
of the Live programs you wish to install....

When you start a download, the download windows tells you where
it is saving the file.

FIrst, you download the Live installer, then run that. Then, you select
Windows Live Mail to install from the Live installer.

Note that sometimes the Windows Live Mail installer will fail if you don't
install Windows Live Messenger *first*.
