Different desktop sizes for different users

I have XP pro and different users want different desktop sizes (like
800x600, 1152x864, etc). Anytime anyone changes the size of the desktop,
the change is applied globally, regardless of whether the user has admin
clearance or not.

Is there a setting I can tweak that will make XP keep different
resolutions for different users?

I don't have a direct answer to your question, but I'll mention that
most graphics drivers enable you to place an icon in the System Tray,
some of which provide the means of making resolution changes quick and
simple, like a two-click process.
