In the early versions of Excel it was possible to align
text with preceding with ' (Single Quote) for right,^
caret for Centre & " for left for Text. This becomes
important if one cell is say =IF(E6>0,E6,"nil"). You have
no choice but to have Nil left aligned. Using the Macro &
VBA also I am stuck after

withSelection

Any clues? I'm very basic in programming.
Looking forward to some reply,
Bye.

Text will take whatever alignment the cell has been formatted for. If the horizontal alignment is "general" then numbers go right and text goes left

If you need a seperate alignment for text, you could set up a conditional format with the alignment that you need

Good Luck
