Hi,
Currently, the only FAX solution I have is in the newly purchased
All-In-One, Canon Multi-Pass MP390. Previously used WinFax Pro 10.0. on a
Win95b machine. It worked beautifully.
I have been Googling around trying to find information regarding WinFax Pro
10.03 and WinXP Pro's Fax Service. Still researching & reading and am now on
this webpage:
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/services/winxpfax.htm
But would like to hear from those who have used any of the three faxing
solutions mentioned here. What did you try and what did you like/dislike
about it? What solution did you ultimately choose?
Cannot decide if I should upgrade my retail WinFax Pro 10 to 10.03 or
install (try) WinXP Pro's Fax Service or just keep using the MP390.
Hesitating to install XP's Fax because I do not know if it will cause
problems with the MP390 fax or if it will be a pain to uninstall if I do not
like it. Also, I would like the ability to use the custom cover pages I made
in WinFax Pro 10 (saved on disk) but I do not believe XP's Fax Service will
recognize them.
Any insight you could provide will be much appreciated.
Hope this post makes sense as with all the reading I've done today my mind
is turning to mush...
