Difference in default Security settings across Vista Editions

2 UAC Settings have been documented on their Explain tabs on Ultimate Edition
as follows :

1. UAC: Behaviour of the elevation prompt for standard users
Default: Prompt for credentials (home) / Automatically deny elevation
requests (enterprise)
2. User Account Control: Detect application installations and prompt for
elevation
Default: Enabled (home) / Disabled (enterprise)

Please direct me to where I can get defaults for the other editions for the
above UAC settings

I'm gonna take a guess and say that text is wrong. I'm running Enterprise
edition. I just checked these values, and they are set to the same as
claimed for Home. Safe to think then that these are the defaults in all
editions. I'll follow up with the authors and try to get the text fixed.

Hi Steve,

'Enterprise' and 'Home' in those contexts refers to the environment, ie a
business/corporate situation, or a home use situation, not the Vista
edition. Perhaps that should be clarified so as not to confuse people?

Thanks for the help. I'm not sure know how this works - if the defaults as
documented are based on a machine's environment(home/enterprise) , what
criteria does Vista use to detect the environment it is currently in . i.e
home or enterprise & then apply defaults?
