Hello there,

AutoReport Tabular - Creates a report that looks like a
table with every field from the table that you choose.

EG.
Name Dept Sex
Judith A F
Adam D M

AutoReport Columnar - Produces a report that includes all
the fields from your table but as text boxes one
underneath each other for each record.

EG.
Name Judith
Dept A
Sex F

Name Adam
Dept D
Sex M

Report Wizard - This allows you to specify exactly which
fields from you table you would like on the report. It
also allows you to specify a Sort Order. It also allows
you to Group your report. EG. Grouping on Dept will put
all the A's together and their details and then all the
D's, etc.

Design View - You can drag and drop the fields onto the
report yourself.

I would use the Report Wizard for the majority of your
reports. Once you get to calculated fields in reports the
Design view is better but for most uses Report Wizard
gives the best results.

Hope this helps

Judith
