Difference between JPG and JPEG

As far as Windows is concerned, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg and .jpg are all the same
thing. jpegfile Class described as JPEG Image.

Files of .jfif will be listed in the File Types dialog box as JPEG Image.

Use FileExtInfo.exe to view the association settings for all of those file
types and you'll see that they all have the same registry settings.

Except maybe...

CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.JPEG\OpenWithList

OpenWithList lists programs in Open With when you right click a file.
