hello. i need to use XP 4 a long term project & am seeking 2 buy. never used
XP b4 & w/all the Vista Hype, clear info is diff. 2 find.

can someone pls give me a simple explain. of the diff. btwn Media Center &
Pro.
(or is "media center" a generalized term 4 both XP Home & Pro)
even if:
m i 2 understand that Media Center IS NOT available as a stand-alone product
(it only came pre-loaded & is no longer avail bcause of Vista - unless some
mauf. happens 2 still have an old 1 in stock (HP has one)?) & therefore, to
buy XP its either home or Pro on the open/secondary market.

wow. sorry that was sooo convuluted; but i think u get the idea.

i REALLY wud appreciate someone w/knowledge helping me on this. i want 2
make sure i kno what im doing b4 i spend $'s.

I can't answer your question, as I use neither MC or Pro. But I do have
a suggestion: write your questions in proper English and you might get
better responses in the future.
