Dialup Connection Indicator

I need a desktop indication that a computer is connected to the
internet. The computer is running Win NT4 and the internet connection is
paid for by the hour. The small system tray icon is easily missed
hence the need for something larger on the desktop.
Can anyone suggest a small program to do this

You could have one of these little apps and have it on desktop (maximize)
and or always on top (via view options in programme(s)).

Snapfiles > Freeware > Dial-up Tools > DUN Tools:

Hope this helps

I use and recommend No Frills Timer, a free utility available from
