Dialog Boxe dimensions too small...

Strange question...

Sometimes with my new PC (and Windows XP), certain dialog
boxes seem to truncate the material that is inside them.
For example, when I am about to print something and I
click the Printer Properties button that opens that
dialog box - the internal portions of the dialog box
actually go "off the screen" and the whole image is not
displayed. Not "off the screen" like off of my
monitor, but the contents disappear beyond the right edge
of the dialog box... It's hard to describe, but it looks
like all I need to do is grab the corner of the dialog
box and extend it so that I can see everything. Only - I
can't! I can't resize the box at all...

I'm running at 1280 x 1024 with font size "normal" and a
custom DPI setting at 115% (110 DPI).

Is there a way to override this? Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

These are usually making assumptions about the number of pixels used to
represent an inch, Then they size the window in pixels and the type in
inches (or 'points' at 72 to the inch). If the relation is not standard
you get these effects. Go to Control Panel - Display - Settings and
click Advanced,. There put the DPI pane onto Normal - (96 DPI). But be
warned - it will have a lot of repercussions. Some of those you can
then correct in Display - Appearance - Advanced, selecting items that
include text (eg Menu and Icon) and adjusting the point size to
compensate for the other change
