dial up connection

can somebody please tell me how i stop dial up connection
from opening automatically when i start my computer?? as
soon as i start the computer dial up opens even when im
doing nothing let alone the fact that im not using
internet explorer

open IE and click on tools > internet options from the menu bar. Then click the connections tab. Here you will see the dial-up connection, there some settings here that allow you to control how the connection works.
