Dhcp error

Haven't got any clue whatsoever why all of a sudden my
computer is now taking 3.5 to 4 minutes to reboot. It
appears to run alright once it is up, but it is terribly
annoying that it takes so long to reboot.

Under System, in Event Viewer, I notice this error:

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: Dhcp
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1007
Date: 11/8/2003
Time: 7:57:37 PM
User: N/A
Computer:
Description:
Your computer has automatically configured the IP address
for the Network Card with network address 00038A000011.
The IP address being used is 169.254.101.152.

It seems right at the moment that this is the only error
that comes up -- I have no idea how to fix it since the
hyperlink that it shows for support with Microsoft is of
no help. Any suggestions????

The router in your home (e.g. Linksys, Netgear, Dlink) or your ISP is not
providing your computer with a network address. Please power cycle your
router or contact your ISP for assistance.
