DHCP Clients receive a default subnet mask.

Some windows 95&98 DHCP clients receive a defalut subnet
mask of 255.0.0.0 instead of the subnet mask set on the
server of 255.255.255.0 for a 10.0.0.0 address. Relaesing
then renewing solves the problem but why is this
happening? Most of the computers get the correct address
but some do not. This problem is at sereral different
sites seperated by a WAN link on the same domain but on
different subnets controlled by different DHCP servers.
