DFS Link problems

I have a dfs root on a windows 2000 domain. When I add a new dfs link
is doesn't show up when browsing to the dfs root. You can access the
link directly. I ran dfsutil /view:domain\share /level:1 and I
noticed that the link that isn't showing up doesn't have a
ShortPrefix. All of the other dfs links do have the shortprefix and
are working well
