Device Driver

I will be in the middle of doing something and my machine
shuts down. When the machine comes up to desktop after
reboot I get system has recovered from fatal error. Then
i am sent to the analyzer system and it tells me i have a
device driver problem. I havent installed any new
components. Why am i getting this.

I'm quite certain you have a virus. All symptoms are the
same as I experienced and after scanning and cleaning,
all problems were resolved.

Larry thanks for the info but I have used Norton anti

virus with all updates, and it came up with nothing clean
bill of health. I was thinking of a fresh install and
hoping that may solve. I this did starting happening
after all the patches i download from the microsoft
server. Go figure. Thanks for the quick response.
