Detail text printing half on one page, half on next

Ocassionally the text on the first page of my report is too long to fit on
one page and spills to the next. This isn't a problem. However, it
sometimes prints the last row of text in between pages, that is part of the
line is on the bottom of the first page and part on the top of the second.
It's as if the report prints everything right up to the margin line rather
than saving what falls on the margin line for the next page.

I'm using A02, WinXP on a machine that also has A97 installed. My report
has several subreports, text boxes and subreports are set to Can Grow. I did
a Google search and posted to ACCESS-L and got a few suggestions which I have
played around with but with no luck. I've varied the margins, added white
space, changed the font, tested on 4 different printers (latest print drivers
in place), varied the Keep Together property, and all with the same result.
Text continues to be horizontally truncated on some pages.

Any ideas? I am desperate and will try anything. Thanks!

Sammi.
I have had similar problems, the way I was able to resolve this was by
selecting the textboxes and labels in question and from the format menu
dropdown selecting the allign to grid option. Than also set the size of the
textboxes and labels to "fit". Than you can try one more thing and that is
set the can shrink property for the applicable band to yes.
Hope this helps.

Fons, Thank you so much for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it didn't work.
All the controls in question are aligned to grid, sized to fit, and set to
Can Shrink. I'm still getting truncated text on some pages. Thank you for
your reply though!

Still looking for any and all suggestions.

Heather, two more things you may try.
Set the detail band to conshrink yes, and if you have multiple
texboxes/labels in the specific band where you have the problem, select them
and set the vertical spacing to 0.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Fons. Tried both your suggestions but still getting truncated text.
I'm ready to give up on this problem. I guess I'll have to live with some
reports printing between pages. I can't think of anything else. Any other
suggestions are welcome. Even if it means standing on my head while singing
Amazing Grace.
