Desktop photo disappeared

Hi. I used an image from my pictures folder for my background. I
accidently deleted the folder that contained that picture but the
picture continued to display on the destop (even after reboots and
shutting down etc). Right clicking, selecting properties and then
Desktop still showed the name of the file. However, when I went to
customize Destop, and selected "Show My Computer" and apply, the
picture went away. The name of it is still listed. I searched for the
name starting at C:\ and nothing.

Any suggestions on where a copy of this file may reside?

Thanks,
Markus

Click Start, Run and type:

%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft

See if there is a file named wallpaper1.bmp
