Desktop.ini files displayed at boot.

I have created a XPE image and have run through FBA to the resael phase.
After the image is resealed I copy the image to a CD using UDF file format.
After transfering the image from the CD to a target CF and finishing FBA the
image will boot and display two desktop.ini files in notepad. Why does this
happen? How can I prevent it.

Dennis,

This is due to the Desktop.ini files located in (likely) the Administrator
and All Users startup folder. What likely is happening is during your copy
using xcopy or other tools the files are losing their hidden attribute. So
when the system starts up and processes what is in the startup folder these
files are executed and opened with their default application (notepad). You
can do one of two things... 1) Copy the files preserving their file
attributes 2) Remove all desktop.ini files from the post FBA startup
folders.

HTH,
Brad
