Sorry if this has been covered before but I searched Google and couldn't
find the answer.
System Win XP Pro, Crucial Radeon 8500LE 128MB
I've just installed the latest Catalyst drivers. Now if I use any screen res
above 1024x768 the desktop becomes bigger than the monitor screen. I can
scroll to the missing bits with the mouse pointer but it's a very irritating
effect. Older Catalyst drivers give the same problem.
If I go back to my ancient driver (1991, supplied with XP I think) I can use
higher screen res but some games, notably Wolfenstein, won't work, failing
with the message 'unable to start openGL subsystem'.
Anyone else had this odd problem and solved it? It seems to me this problem
is a feature rather than a fault, but how do I turn it off?
