Desktop & Documents not accessible

I've just repaired my system from "ntldr is missing" error but after logging
into my account I get two error messages:

"C:\Documents and Settings\MY COMPUTER NAME\Desktop is not accessible"

and

"The 'My Documents' folder could not be found. Right-click My Documents
Icon, Click Properties, and then check that the path to your target is
correct"

Path looks fine.

Can someone please help?
Thanks

P.S. I already ran 2 disk checks (norton+windows) still same happens

Could be your user registry is corrupt.
C:\Documents and Settings\MY COMPUTER NAME\Desktop

should be...

"C:\Documents and Settings\<USER_NAME>\Desktop

It is "C:\Documents and Settings\<USER_NAME>\Desktop" I just typed "MY
COMPUTER NAME" because I didn't want everybody to know my computer name.

Any ideas, anyone?
